PHP backend developer

My name is Sergey and I am a Russian-based web developer.
I was born in 1984 (36 years) in Saint-Petersburg, Russia.

I would appreciate an opportunity to work as a PHP software developer in your company.

I have worked on many startup projects in Russia as a co-founder, CTO, and full-stack developer.

I have strong experience with PHP, Ruby, client- and server-side Javascript, node.js, MySQL, Postgresql, NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.), full-text search; caching and queueing systems; web servers (nginx, Apache, Passenger).

I have a totally of 10+ years of experience.

I worked with popular Web frameworks:
PHP: Zend Framework, Slim, Laravel
Node.js: Express
Ruby: Ruby on Rails

I have well knowledge of performance optimization for high load web services (classic load balancing and denormalization, sharding, replication techniques, “polyglot persistence”, digging into the internals of databases, etc.). I know all classic CS algorithms and data structures.

I have experience with AWS (EC2 instances, RDS, Lambda, etc.).

I am interested in DevOps, working with Docker, Ansible.

Also, I have experience in desktop application development using C# and Java.

In my projects, I use git version control system.
I am ok with Linux console and bash scripts.

Previously I also worked in the area of hardware development.
During this work, I developed a programming code for microcontrollers using C and assembly language.

Also, I have a good knowledge of math since my scientific activity was linked with mathematical modeling. I widely used MATLAB and Excel for these purposes.

Wide experience in different technological areas allows me to learn new skills in a fast and efficient way.
